I feel your pain.

U SPS told me my package was out for delivery last week. Never showed up. The next day the status switched to “In Transit” and a week later it’s still in limbo.

I had amazon tell me package was left at front door yesterday at 2 pm.

I get home around 5. No package. Ask my wife. no package. I call UPS. Yep. They left it at the front door at 2pm.

What the...

UPS truck drives by late afternoon. I flag him down - was it you who supposedly delivered shit here at 2pm? Yeah. It was me. I scanned it... but then amnesia. Here is your package, sir.

I ordered something to be sent from Japan all the way back on March 16th, and for some unknown reason it got snagged in Japan, with no updates for a month... and then “returned to sender lol”. And yet, no listed delivery to them either (not sure there would be).

The status of the Amazon order still hasn’t updated. I’m going to have to contact the seller.

I’ve got a package coming from IN to MO, but for some reason it’s making a detour to Washington DC before it gets to me.

I know, I know, hubs and consolidation and stuff like that, but that doesn’t make it seem any less odd at first glance . Perhaps it was just years of living in CA that got me conditioned to think that packages only moved west (and sometimes, south) to get to me...

I had concerns to this end in a basically identical situation with item coming from Japan . No tracking and just a notice to say it shipped on X day. Was mighty glad to see it arrive.
